Paul Noone

Graphic Designer – Lecturer

Paul has been successfully teaching ICT to students in various colleges and schools for many years, while prior to and during this time, he established his own Web and Graphic Design business, creating a large portfolio of clients and guiding many of these clients through the design process from inception to the creation of an entirely new brand.

Paul has a vast knowledge of business, being involved in the retail sector for many years, owning and running his own retail chain in Dublin. His business experience also includes the introduction of an international retailing brand to Ireland, involving opening multiple retail outlets around Ireland while simultaneously managing this branding process.

I thoroughly enjoyed this course; I found the content very enjoyable and the lecturer extremely knowledgeable.

I would have no issue in recommending the course / college to family, friends, or colleagues.

Senan Cronin

The Graphic Design diploma with City Colleges was enjoyable from start to finish. It focused on the main Adobe software required in the industry and each week was project led helping to reinforce what was covered in class.  Paul, the lecturer was always on hand if I had queries or needed guidance. On completion, I felt confident in my design knowledge and computer skills. I would thoroughly recommend this course to anyone interested in Graphic Design; I wish I had done it sooner!

Sarah Gardner

I really loved doing the course, as a complete beginner to graphic design the way Paul taught the course made it easy to understand and learn all the essential elements of graphic design with ease.

If you commit the time and effort to undertake all of the assignments by the end of this course, I was able to produce my own professional logos and I have a broad understanding in the use of the Adobe software used in graphic design.

John Hoban

I appreciate the straightforward, simplified and accessible way the information is presented in a logical and sequential format to create an understanding of the essential elements of graphic design. For a short-term course, without the more extensive commitment of a full year you might find elsewhere, I found as much value in this course as I have in more traditional programs. Even though it is a basic introductory course, I was excited to undertake these exercises and do it all over again. This class is worth your time, effort and attention.
